Ganesh Haloi
Born in 1936.
Studied at the Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata. Recipient
of the Rabindra Bharati Award in 1970, and the Shiromani Puraskar
in 1990. Documentary films have been made on him for Kolkata Doordarshan
and for the State Archives by the Government of West Bengal. His
work is represented in several public and private collections in
India and abroad.
