Sanjay Sawant
Born in 1969.
Studied at the Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai. Recipient of the
Late Shanker Palsikar Award, a National Award from the Lalit Kala
Akademi, a Fellowship from the Sir J.J. School of Art, and a Junior
Fellowship from the Government of India. Has participated in several
group shows including '50 years of Art in Bombay' at the National
Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai, and held solo shows of his work.
His work is in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern
Art, Mumbai.
