Born in 1947. Studied at the College of Art, Delhi. Has held several solo exhibitions of his work and participated in major national and international exhibitions. His work is represented in private and public collections within India and overseas. Recipient of the National Award of the Lalit Kala Akademi in 1976. He has a special interest in world cinema, literature, and music.
