Born in 1937. Studied at the College of Art, Delhi, and the Delhi Polytechnic. Awards received by her include the Sahitya Kala Parishad award, the 'Parishad Samman', and an award at the Algeria Biennial. Her works are in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Dehi, the Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi, Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal, the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, the Chester Herwitz Family Collection, USA, and several public and private collections.
