Born in 1958. Studied at MS University Baroda. Received the National Award for Painting in 1998, and the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi Award in 1978. Has held solo exhibitions of his work and participated in several group exhibitions. His work is in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi, and the Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi.
