Born in 1965. A gold medalist from the Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, she also received an MFA degree in Painting at East Carolina University, North Carolina, and was awarded the Gravely Foundation Scholarship, the Liquitex Excellence in Art Award and the Jerome Foundation/Women’s Art Registry of Minnesota Scholarship. Has held several solo shows of her work in India and participated in group exhibitions in India and abroad, the most recent being the India Art Summit 2009, New Delhi and Art Dubai 2009.
