Born in 1963. Obtained a Masters degree in Fine Arts at Kala Bhavan, Visvabharati, Santiniketan. Recipient of merit scholarships from Kala Bhavan, a National Merit Scholarship and a Junior Fellowship from the Government of India. Participated in the 1st International Print Biennale at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal in 1989. Has held several solo shows of her work and participated in group exhibitions in India and abroad, the most recent being the Santiniketan Show at the Henry Moore Gallery at the Royal College of Art, London.
