Born in 1963. Bachelor and Masters degrees in Fine Arts at Kala Bhavan, Visvabharati, Santiniketan. Awards received include Merit Scholarships from Kala Bhavan, National Merit Scholarship by the Government of India, and a Junior Fellowship by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Participated in the 1st International Print Biennial at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal in 1989. Has held several solo shows of her work and participated in group exhibitions in India and abroad, the most recent being the Santiniketan Show at the Henry Moore Gallery at the Royal College of Art, London.
