Paramjit Singh
Born in 1935. Studied at the College
of Art, Delhi. Has shown widely in India and abroad in solo shows
and important group exhibitions. Received the National Award of
the Lalit Kala Akademi in 1970. Was Professor at Jamia Milia Islamia,
New Delhi, where he taught at the Department of Fine Arts and Art
Education from 1963 to 1992. His work is represented in several
public and private collections.
