Born in 1972 in Mumbai,
Radhika has lived and studied around the world, in, among
other cities, Delhi, Kolkata, Hong Kong and Sydney. Her travels
have greatly influenced her work. Radhika held her first solo
show in New Delhi in 1992. Since then, she has held solo shows
of her work in New Delhi, Bangalore, Lahore. Sydney, San Francisco
and Houston, and has participated in group shows within the
country and in the USA, Japan and Australia.
Radhika was chosen ‘Yamagata Fellow’ in 1997 –
one of 12 artists selected by an international jury to attend
an intensive
art workshop at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC. Very
Special Arts International has exhibited her work at its gallery
in Washington DC, the UN Headquarters in New York, the Cultural
Paralympiad in Nagano, Japan, and the Clarksville
Montgomery County Museum, Tennessee, USA.
Her work, a combination of watercolours and acrylics, is in
the collection of the Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Bradford,
England, and is represented in several private collections
in India, England, Australia, Singapore, Finland and the United
States. Radhika lives and works in New Delhi.
