Born in 1953. Studied at the Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata, the Atelier of Atul Bose, France, and the Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs de Nice, France. Recipient of a scholarship from the Assam Government, awards from the Government College of Art, Calcutta, and a French Government scholarship in Mural and Mosaic. His works are in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi, the Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi, and several public and private collections.
