Arindam Chatterjee
Born in 1970, Arindam studied Fine
Art at the Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata, and at
Viswa Bharati, Santiniketan. He received the Silver Prize at the
Drawing and Design Exhibition at Kyoto University in 1997, the Annual
Exhibition Award of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture, Kolkata,
the H.K. Kejriwal Memorial Award in 1998, and the Navonmesha Puraskar,
Kolkata, in 2002. He is also the recipient of a National Cultural
Scholarship and a Junior Research Fellowship from the Government
of India. He participated in the Triennale held by the Lalit Kala
Academy in New Delhi in 2005. His work is in the collection of the
National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.
