John Tun Sein
Born in 1957, John obtained a G.D.
Art (Painting) at the Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai. He received
a Research Grant Scholarship from the Lalit Kala Akademi (1988-89).
He has held solo shows of his work at Gallery Art.Motif, New Delhi,
Anant Art, Kolkata, Pundole Art Gallery, Mumbai, Galerie Mueller
and Plate, Munich, Kunst im Alten Spritzenhaus, Bahlingen-Germany,
Galerie Holmenshoeve, Belgium, and at Aicon Gallery, Palo Alto,
USA. He has participated in several group shows in India, Germany,
Belgium, France, Poland and the United Kingdom. HHis work is in
the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi,
the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, and in several private collections.
John lives and works in Germany and India.
