Born in 1949. Graduated in medicine and till recently, was a practicing radiologist at Thane, near Mumbai. Has held several solo shows of his works, and participated in important group exhibitions in India and abroad. His works are in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, Roopankar Museum, Bhopal, the Jehangir Nicholson collection, Mumbai, the Peabody Essex Museum, USA, and several other collections. Books on the artist and his work have been published in 2004 and 2008.
