Born in 1966. Received a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from the Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai. Recipient of several awards including an award at the National Exhibition, New Delhi, awards from the Bombay Art Society and the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad. Received a Junior Fellowship from the Government of India. Her work is represented in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi; the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi; Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal; the Ostrobothnian Museum, Vaasa, in Finland; and the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture in Cairo, Egypt.
