Born in 1954. Studied at the Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, Atelier of William Hayter, Paris and at École de Beaux Arts, Paris. Recipient of several awards, including a gold medal from the Maharashtra Government, a scholarship from the French Government and an award at the Bharat Bhavan Biennale of Contemporary Indian Art in 1990. Solo shows of his work have been held in India and abroad. His works are in several private and public collections.
