Ambadas Khobragade
Born in 1922. Studied at the Sir J.J.
School of Art, Mumbai. Recipient of the National Award of the Lalit
Kala Akademi. His work has been exhibited in several international
exhibitions, and is represented in major public and private collections
in India and overseas, including the National Gallery of Modern
Art, New Delhi. A retrospective of his works was held in 2008. A
book on the artist and his work was published in 2008.
