Born in 1956. Obtained a BFA in Interior Design and Stage Craft from the Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai and a BFA in Graphic Design from the Corcoran School of Art, Washington, DC. Awarded a Visual Arts Fellowship, DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities and the National Endowment for the Arts in 1998. Has held several solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in India and abroad. His work is represented in the collection of the Corcoran Gallery of Art; The Baltimore Museum of Art, Baltimore; the Library of Congress, and several private collections in India and abroad.
