Jayasri Burman
Born in 1960.
Studied at Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan, and the College of Visual
Arts, Kolkata. Recipient of the National Award in 1985, and a Certificate
of Merit at the All India Youth Art Exhibition in 1987. Has held
several solo exhibitions of her work, and participated in group
exhibitions within the country and overseas. Her work is in the
collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi, the Lalit
Kala Akademi, Delhi, and several public and private collections.
