Sudhir Patwardhan
Born in 1949.
Graduated in medicine and till recently, was a practising radiologist
at Thane, near Mumbai. Has held several solo shows of his works,
and participated in important group exhibitions in India and abroad.
His works are in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern
Art, New Delhi, Roopankar Museum, Bhopal, the Jehangir Nicholson
collection, Mumbai, the Peabody Essex Museum, USA, and several other
collections. A book on the artist and his work was published in
2004.
