Haku Shah
Born in 1934. Obtained a Master’s
degree at Baroda University. Recipient of several awards for his
contribution to art, including the Nehru Fellowship, the Padma Shri
and the Kala Ratna. He is a recognized authority on tribal art in
India. Tributes to the artist were published in ‘Invisible
Order’, a book on the artist published in 1999.
