Jogen Chowdhury
Born in 1939. Studied at the Government College of Arts and Crafts,
Kolkata. His works have been exhibited in several shows including
the Triennales at Delhi, the Sao Paolo Biennale, the Havana Biennale,
as well as other significant exhibitions. His works are in the collection
of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi, the Victoria and Albert
Museum, London and the Glenbarra Museum, Japan. A book on the artist
and his works was published in 2005.
