Born in 1965. A gold medallist from the Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, she also received an MFA degree in Painting from East Carolina University, USA, and was awarded the Gravely Foundation Scholarship; the Liquitex Excellence in Art Award; Members’
Award of Excellence, The Phipps Center’s ‘Fourteenth Annual Members Art Exhibit’, Hudson, Wisconsin; and the Jerome Foundation / Women’s Art Registry of Minnesota Scholarship. Has held several solo shows of her work in India and participated in group
exhibitions in India and abroad.
