Krishen Khanna
Born in 1925. Was a banker till he
turned to painting full time. His works have been exhibited at the
Biennales at Tokyo and Sao Paolo, and the International Triennales
in New Delhi. Awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India
in 1990. A book on the artist and his work was published in 2003.
