Born in 1967. Studied Fine Arts at the Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. Received a French Government Scholarship to study in Paris in 1993, and a Junior Fellowship from the Government of India in 1995-97. Has held several solo exhibitions and
participated in curated exhibitions in India and Europe. Has worked as Creative Director of multimedia exhibition project ‘Gita-Govinda’, which continues to travel to leading institutions of the world. Her work is in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi and in several private and public collections.
