Born in 1950. Graduated with a degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi. Self-taught artist except for a year’s apprenticeship with Anjolie Ela Menon. Recipient of the National Scholarship from the Government of India. Has held several solo shows in India and abroad. Was selected by the Commonwealth Institute, London, for its inaugural show. Her work is in several public and private collections within India and abroad.
