Ram Kumar
Born in 1924. Studied art at the Sharda
Ukil School, Delhi, and thereafter with Andre Lhote and Fernand
Leger in Paris. Recipient of the J.D. Rockefeller Fellowship. His
work is in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art,
Delhi, and the Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi. He was awarded the Padma
Shri in 1971.
