Dhar Born in Kolkata in 1963. Obtained
Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Fine Arts at Santiniketan. Received a doctorate
from Viswa Bharati University, Santiniketan, in 1992, for her thesis on 'Landscape
as an expression in Indian traditional painting'. Received a Junior Fellowship
from the University Grants Government. Has held several exhibitions of her work.
